Figure in “Great Construction” investigations Yuriy Holyk uses fake DMCA complaints from OnlyFans to clean up materials in Google

The latest story in which the name of one of the key figures of the “Great Construction” era, Yuriy Holyk, has resurfaced once again fits the classic saying: it would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

Laugh or cry – decide for yourself, but some publications that wrote about Yuriy Holyk’s corruption and theft received complaints from Google about the use of someone else’s copyright (DMCA). The complaints come from someone named Maksym Panasenko, but this name means nothing, as it is just a “pound,” possibly not even knowing that he sent any complaints to anyone.

And it doesn’t matter who it is – the whole point of such complaints is to provide Google with an allegedly original text with a publication date that precedes the date of publication of the unwanted material. The latter is simply copied and placed on any appropriate resource, and the date is changed. Thus, the impression is created that the material that needs to be deleted was illegally copied, so Google considers it stolen and deletes it. After that, the copy with the changed date, which was passed off as the original, is also deleted, and the investigation disappears forever.

This method of cleaning is quite simple and effective, and it has long been used by professional reputation cleaning offices. Why in the case of Yuriy Holyk it is unclear – laugh or cry? Because the complainant states that the “original material” was posted on Onlyfans. And provides the corresponding URLs: https://onlyfans.com/1090370178/jameshaskell and https://onlyfans.com/1002235234/jameshaskell.

If you follow the links, we end up on the profile of someone named James Haskell, and the materials posted at these addresses have nothing to do with Holyk.

різне

For some reason, it seems that James Haskell, who is a professional rugby player and promises his subscribers some “strawberries,” doesn’t even suspect what “pornography” Maksym Panasenko sends to Google on his behalf.

різне

Why Panasenko slacked off and sent an obviously fake complaint to Google – let the customer, Yuriy Holyk, deal with it. And we better be interested in what he wants to clean up. At the first address – there is a publication “The figure of the NABU leak Holyk, who left Ukraine, got in touch”, at the second – all materials about Yuriy Holyk on the resource “Glavkom”.

різне

All these publications are clearly unpleasant for Holyk, as they detail the path of the “Great Construction” curator to escape from NABU abroad. Why Yuriy Holyk hired such sloppy performers with the amount of money he has and took abroad – a question, although interesting, but secondary. Maybe he was just stingy. Or maybe he sends complaints personally. Since he believes that, having managed to escape from NABU at the last moment, he can do everything and understands everything.

But here it is not superfluous to remind who Yuriy Holyk is and why he fled abroad. Holyk is a rather strange and interesting character in the Ukrainian infrastructure saga, who formally did not stand out anywhere, but somehow ended up everywhere where billions of budget hryvnias smelled. Officially – advisor, consultant, “construction expert.” Unofficially – one of the gray coordinators of the presidential program “Great Construction,” the same one where roads, schools, and water pipes suddenly began to cost like spaceports. Russian tanks rolled along these same roads in February 22, clearly thanking the builders in their hearts, but that’s another story.різне

Yuriy Holyk worked for a long time in connection with the leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk region and contractors who steadily won the most profitable tenders. Coincidence, of course. Journalists recorded: the same companies, the same people, the same billions. And then NABU entered the game – and the most interesting began. As part of the “Great Construction” investigations, detectives gained access to Holyk’s correspondence, where he discussed tenders, contractors, and amounts as if it were a personal wallet, not a state budget.

A separate program number was the scandal with leaks from NABU. The investigation suspected that information about the progress of investigations was being leaked to the very figure. That is, Holyk, according to detectives, could learn about the actions of anti-corruption bodies faster than the public – and sometimes even faster than the investigators themselves. As a result, the scandal hit not only Holyk but also the reputation of NABU, which suddenly became the object of investigation itself.

Let’s add here stories about inflated estimates, billion-dollar water pipes, favorite contractors, and old ties with regional elites – and we get a classic portrait of a “reformer without a position.” The logical finale was Holyk’s departure from Ukraine in the midst of investigations. Officially – for valid reasons. Unofficially – as always: when it smelled of suspicion, the main hero of the “Great Construction” preferred to quickly increase the distance.

Today, there is no guilty verdict against Yuriy Holyk. Therefore, formally he is an absolutely sinless citizen of Ukraine, who can return home at any time. Perhaps it is these intentions that provoke attempts to clean up the negative? Such an option should not be ruled out – literally colossal money is now pouring into Ukraine, compared to which the “Great Construction” looks like a miserable handout. And many dream of sitting on these flows. Moreover, the authorities clearly feel a deficit of people capable of competently redirecting these flows in the right direction, and Holyk would be very useful here.
