Yuriy Holyk, an adviser to the Office of the President, ideologue of the “Great Construction” program, and a central figure in the NABU information leak story, is reportedly already enjoying the Austrian scenery.
This is reported by Vikryvach.
According to sources in the State Border Guard Service, he left through the «Shlyakh» system using a disability certificate. The final destination, according to the publication’s interlocutors, is Austria.
As a reminder, in May 2024 a scandal erupted over a possible «leak» of official information from NABU. According to media reports, Holyk was the central figure in the story.
At the time, law enforcement officers searched an NABU employee. The SAPO confirmed that it was investigating the disclosure of materials from operational and investigative activities. It later emerged that the case involved the leak of information in the case of Yuriy Holyk.
Things then got even more interesting.
The SAPO explained that the investigation concerns the case of the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration and Holyk’s partner, in which 1.5 billion hryvnias may have disappeared during the implementation of the «Great Construction».
Due to the scandal, NABU First Deputy Director Gizo Uglava was suspended from his duties, and NABU and the SAPO were even forced to jointly explain how official information had begun to take on a life of its own.
